Muse #24

Exactly 16 years ago today the world became a better place for me and so many others that have been touched by my beautiful daughter Brooklyn.  At 2 1/2 months old we almost lost her as she had pneumonia and went into congestive heart failure. A touch and go few days and a five hour surgery brought her back to us. For this week's Muse challenge, I used the layout of Laurie`s inspiration to create a birthday card for my baby girl in her favourite colours.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn!

Cardstock:  Winter Wisteria, Royal Velvet (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned Paper: Cake & Ice Cream (Doodlebug)
Stamps: Stylish Sentiments Birthday, Make a Wish Additions (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Royal Velvet (Papertrey Ink)
Dies: balloons (Lil`Inkers)
other: foam tape, purple twine

Happy Birthday to sweet Brooklyn. I did not know that story, and I just can't even imagine the horror. This is a fabulous card--beautiful job of taking Laurie's card and making it your own. I see that Brooklyn and Rachel have the same choice in colors.
